Cat C+E – Class 1 Licence
The Cat CE / Class 1 allows you to drive a category C vehicle with a detachable trailer over 750kg. Passing this licence also gives you the C1, C1+E and C automatically.
It’s typically used for the largest loads over longer distances across the UK and internationally. Some examples of work are general haulage, supermarket work and car transportation.
If you already hold the Category C licence , gaining the CE licence will boost your job opportunities and earning potential. We’ll just need to book you in for your practical training.
If you’re just entering the world of HGV, since the 29th November 2021, you can now go straight from a car licence (category B) to the CE to maximise your employment options. CE drivers love driving to different places across the UK as well as the additional money they can earn. We’ll help guide you through your medical, paperwork, theory revision & tests, practical training, CPC and help with employment options once qualified.
